Garlic Italian Pizza Crust
- 1 1/3 c. warm water
- 2 tsp. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 3 c. flour
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl (I used my Kitchenaid mixer), combine water, yeast, oil and sugar.
Let sit for 15 minutes, until large bubbles form.
Add salt, garlic and Italian seasoning.
Add flour, and with dough hook attachment (or by hand, if not using a mixer), stir until flour is completely incorporated.
Knead on medium-high speed for 10 minutes )or 15 minutes by hand), until dough is firm and elastic, and no longer sticky.
Divide dough into 2 balls. On a lightly floured surface, roll balls one at a time, to make your pizza crusts.
Use this recipe in the Crock Pot to make Tomato, Artichoke & Zucchini Pizza or in your favorite oven-baked pizza recipe.
